Three Kings Yard was founded by Benedict Roth, a multi-disciplinary risk practitioner who saw an opportunity for a new engagement model — one that puts substance and experience ahead of branding and sales.

Benedict has deep and extensive experience in traded risk across traditional markets and cryptoassets, both in the private and the public sectors. Trained in the private sector by cash traders on a treasury trading floor, he moved to the UK's Financial Services Authority in 2012 as a specialist bank supervisor, joining the Bank of England in 2013, and later served the Bank of England as policy specialist in counterparty credit risk, regulatory arbitrage and secured financing.

Before founding Three Kings Yard, Benedict served as Chief Risk Officer at a startup cryptoasset exchange and brokerage in London and a startup cryptocurrency derivative exchange in Singapore.
